Driveplate — removal and installation
The drive plate replacement for V8 engines is identical to the drive plate replacement procedure for the V6 engines. Refer to Chapter V6 engine for the procedure and use the torque figures in this Chapter’s Specifications.
Note: On 6.0L models, if the spacer between the drive plate and the crankshaft must be removed and it’s stuck, insert bolts (M11x1.5 mm) into the two threaded holes in the spacer. Tightening the bolts will force the spacer off the crankshaft.
