Transfer case control switch (manual-shift models) — replacement
1. Raise and support the vehicle on jack stands.
2. Remove the rock shield (skid plate)., if equipped.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the transfer case control switch located at the top of the transfer case, between the front driveshaft output and the adapter.
4. Unscrew the switch to remove.
5. Installation is reverse of removal. Lubricate the 0-ring with Dextrin VI (or equivalent) transmission fluid before installing.
