Turn signal/hazard flasher/multi-function switch — replacement
Warning: The models covered by this manual are equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), more commonly known as airbags. Always disarm the airbag system before working in the vicinity of any airbag system component to avoid the possibility of accidental deployment of the airbag, which could cause personal injury (see Airbag system — general information and precautions).
1. Remove the steering wheel (see Suspension and steering).
2. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers (see Body).
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the turn signal/hazard flasher/multi-function switch (see illustration).
8.3 To disconnect the electrical connectors from the turn signal multi-function switch, use a small screwdriver to disengage the locking tabs on the terminal from the lugs on the connectors

4. Remove the turn signal/hazard flasher/ multi-function switch mounting screws. One screw is horizontal facing you and the other screw is on the top screwed in vertically.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal
